STATUS: OPEN: See Below

Hello all,
The boulderfield is open as of 10/13/07 for members of the CCC. This is a new venture for us all so we need to see how it goes before we come up with a guest policy. A parking pass is required for you to be legally parked. We cannot make exceptions to this rule. Please carpool as parking is somewhat limited. There should be plenty of parking but if people do not carpool and/or do not park tightly we will run out of spots.

Please note members will receive a parking pass and combination to the lockboxes. This information will take a 1-3 weeks for you to receive via snail mail after joining. Please plan ahead and provide us with accurate email and snail mail addresses. You must have this parking pass displayed clearly in your car to be legally parked.

**One very important issue that we cannot stress enough is that you must be an active member of the CCC to currently access this property. This is not an attempt by the CCC to make this an exclusive area for certain people but a request of the property owner. We will get a guest policy in place but this will take time. If this becomes a problem we will be forced to ask about membership and check your name against the current member list. If you are not a member we will have to ask you to leave**

This is a wonderful boulderfield with some of the best fall/winter bouldering NC has to offer. It is now literaly up to the climbers of NC to keep the area open.

*** PLEASE BE SURE TO CLOSE AND LOCK BACK EACH GATE BEHIND YOU ON THE WAY IN AND OUT ***

Please CLICK HERE for info on how to become a member of the CCC.
