Triple Crown

With the lease signed and trail work completed, the Asheboro Boulders opened October 13, 2007. At the most recent CCC Annual Meeting at Hound Ears-14, the bouldering community demonstrated again that it is actively involved in opening and keeping open boulder fields throughout the southeast. To be exact, Jim Horton and the Triple Crown series stepped up in a big way and offered to pay the lease, on behalf of the CCC, each year for the Asheboro Boulders. How perfect that folks participating in an awesome regional comp can do so, knowing that their entry fees are going right back to local access efforts?
