Raven Rock Access and Waiver
Visitors must complete this waiver each year for access to Raven Rock. If you engage in climbing activities, we stronly enourage you to support this access by being an annual CCC member. You can check your membership status online.
After completing the waiver, you will recieve an email confirmation that includes directions and the gate code. That message will come from info@carolinaclimbers.org, please check your spam or junk mail folder if you do not see the message.
By registering your information in this waiver, you agree to the following: If you choose to hike or climb at Raven Rock, you are voluntarily assuming all risk of injury or death. The “Property Owners” of Raven Rock, as well as the Carolina Climbers Coalition, make no claim as to the safety, stability or suitability of the Properties for any use, including hiking, bouldering, or rock climbing. Hiking, bouldering, and rock climbing are all dangerous activities with unforeseeable risks. Furthermore, the Properties are known to be primitive and dangerous with possibility of injury or death from any number of sources including, but not limited to, wildlife, steep cliff faces, feature instability, rock fall, snakes, bears, insects, disease, environment factors, weather, etc. Fixed anchors (bolts, webbing, fixed lines) on the property are not inspected and not maintained, and are not guaranteed to be safe. As a climber, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any fixed anchors you are using are in safe condition. Use of fixed anchors is at your own risk. The Property Owners or the Carolina Climbers Coalition assume no responsibility or liability for potential harm to any user of the trail or property for any reason. Trail users and climbers agree to hold harmless and indemnify the “Property Owners” and the Carolina Climbers Coalition from any claim resulting from access to the property as granted by this trail.
