AJ Jackson- President
I moved to North Carolina in 1986 to attend Guilford College, part of what attracted me to the region were the numerous possibilities for outdoor adventure. I gravitated towards world-class wreck diving and beaches down east and westward to the incredibly picturesque mountains for skiing, hiking and of course rock climbing.
I'm the father of two young adults and married to a wonderful wife, all of whom share my love of out the outdoor world. Outside of family, climbing has been my main passion for decades. Trail days and fixed gear replacement have been my main way of giving back to the community that I care so much about. Being chosen to serve on the board will allow me to expand my volunteerism in a way that protects, preserves and expands climbing for many generations.
