Elizabeth Stavish - Treasurer

I am excited to join the Carolina Climbers Coalition Board of Directors as Treasurer. I look forward to leveraging my background in financial stewardship, fundraising, and strategic planning to support our mission.

My partner Forrest and I own and operate Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School based out of Asheville, NC. He has led me on rock and ice around the US, with the most time spent in Western NC, Obed, New River Gorge, and the White Mountains. I hold a Master of Business Administration (Penn State), a BA in Anthropology (UNCA), and have held leadership roles with nonprofits and skilled nursing facilities. I am also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with professional certifications in nonprofit management and nonprofit accounting.

As a recreational climber, jogger, hiker, and biker, I deeply appreciate the CCC’s work to protect public lands and expand outdoor recreation access for all. You can often find me adventuring in the woods with Forrest and our two young children. I look forward to facilitating operations as the CCC continues to expand its regional impact in a sustainable, thoughtful, and mission-driven way.
