Alycia Andrade - Marketing and Events Director

Alycia arrived in North Carolina in 2005, attending Brevard College’s Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education program. At Brevard, she began climbing at nearby Looking Glass Rock and quickly developed a passion for the sport. In Transylvania County, Alycia spent multiple summers guiding for summer camps before pursuing a career in the nonprofit industry where she combined her love of the outdoors with her desire to promote equity for underserved groups. 

Alycia’s marketing skill set combines her experience as a wilderness leader, nonprofit professional, and master educator with her creativity and passion for storytelling. As an avid outdoorswoman and lover of wilderness, she has always found refuge in nature. The preservation of wild places is paramount to Alycia, and she’s eager to advance CCC's mission through innovative marketing and diverse community building. 

Alycia currently lives in the Triangle area with her partner and their sweet old hound dog. When not at work, you can find her climbing at Triangle Rock Club, running or riding local trails, or tending her garden.
